Is Pilates training available for men?

Absolutely! In fact, Pilates was created by a man, Joseph H. Pilates.  We encourage men to train with Pilates to improve athletic performance, while increasing strength and flexibility.  Jennifer has a large male clientele base for both group and private training programs.

Does Jennifer Pilates teach duet and small group sessions?

Can I do Pilates when I have an injury?

Jennifer Pilates has extensive training working work clients and athletes with injuries.  Pilates has longed been used in physical therapy programs as a way to aid in recovering from injuries. Can I do Pilates while I am pregnant?

Yes, if your doctor has given you clearance, you may do Pilates. In fact, it’s a great way to stay in shape throughout your pregnancy. Starting with private session is a great way to learn all the modifications you need to stay safe and comfortable during group classes.  What are the Benefits of Working Out with Pilates Equipment?

Pilates apparatus consists of a wide array of equipment designed to accommodate clients at every fitness level. It was developed by Joseph Pilates after he created the traditional mat exercises. Spring tension, straps to hold feet or hands, support for back, neck, and shoulders are an important part of the process. Because of the remarkable nature of the apparatus to both challenge and support the body as you learn to move more efficiently, the Pilates equipment truly act as a complement to the challenging mat work exercises.

How Long Before I See Results?

This varies from client to client depending on how driven and dedicated one is. Typically, when training with Jennifer Pilates consistently 2-3 times per week, clients will see results within the first two weeks.
